Rear brake fix + cable lube

Time to spend some quality time in the garage again. Plan for today; lube all cables. The back brake has been very stubborn, so I would have to look further in to that.

Started by dismantling the top plastic cover on the steering.
The cover has cracked on the top, to be glued and resprayed.

Easy access to all cables. A good round of teflon spray was used.

Over to the floor boards. A small rust hole was to my surprise uncovered under the plastic covers on the right floor board.

Left side OK.

But the right side should be at least stopped.

The rear brake pedal was found out of order.

And was replaced with a spare one. Unfortuneately, the ONLY part I didn't save on my red spare PK, was the brake pedal.... So now I need to source one for one of my other projects...

Some rust eater was applied to the hole, I might want to weld it shut at a later stage.

Status: Front and rear brake now works perfectly! All cables have been lubricated. Soon the missus can start practicing scootering.
